Ghost of Yotei

A really solid action game that I enjoyed a lot but seems to not have as much polish or writing strength as the first game did. Atsu is a great character with a great beginning, but the dilemma between revenge or not doesn’t seem to be properly set up. They most likely had something more in mind but got rushed, but the villains are cartoonishly evil and it doesn’t present a good reason why you shouldn’t get revenge. Would’ve loved if there was more gray area between matusmae and saito like it hints at early Story aside the combat is great aside from a few overly gliding boss fights, it looks great, and I had a good time with it

I recently finished this game (07/16). Once again sucker punch did an exceptional and outstanding masterpiece of a game as I always say "One for the books" if you catch my drift but let me explain on why I gave it a 9/10. I experience the game on a PS5 Pro and played the whole game on Ray Tracing Pro with a uncapped refresh rate and it was visually stunning I had nothing bad to say about the game's graphics both Tsushima and Yotei looks and plays great. But the story set me off close to the ending. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't played it yet but the story was interesting and intriguing during the first half but when you are near the end it kinda felt off for some reason. And a lot of times yotei had us in a more "rescue" mission rather than Tsushima's stealthily or go all out war missions. But the side quest and bounty hunting quest had me locked in which is more better than Tsushima's. Overall as a samurai fan. The game is a must buy and I would recommend it to everyone especially samurai/revenge fans. Sucker Punch did a terrific job from the music to the characters and the beautifully designed Yotei. As of now I am going for the platinum trophy and mission by mission it get's more entertaining.

One of the best games I have ever played. The gameplay is super fun, and the story is an absolute masterpiece. Literally one of my favorite games of all time.

OH.MY.GAH. This game is AMAZING!! And the graphics are so crisp! Not to mentions the WORLD?!? It’s so beautiful!! You can tell how much time and love was put into this game!! The world is so alive in lots all aspects! It describes, and shows how different people deal with grief differently, and how vengeance can change a persons look on life, until they find something to live for. This game was challenging, but in the best way possible. It wasn’t boring in any way at all, and I had the greatest time playing it. Def 10/10. Totally recommend!!
