Cool to get to go back and play a modernized version of the first Souls game, but you can tell they were figuring it out still.

This is an good game as a remake. Played on PS5 Pro and it looked stunning. I have few things that I didn't like about this game: Boss runbacks (though I understand levels and bosses are considered as one experience); Too punishing deaths - I am no stranger to punishment in FromSoftware games, but losing half health (until reborn), losing souls + losing world tendency is a bit too much together.
