Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second entry in the Final Fantasy VII remake project, which retells the story of the genre-redefining RPG across three distinct games. Iconic heroes Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Aerith and Red XIII have escaped from the dystopian city Midgar and are now in pursuit of Sephiroth, the vengeful swordsman from Cloud’s past who was thought to be dead.

Takes everything Remake started and builds off it tenfold. I think the pacing and story works extremely well given the amount of time you spend with the character. The combat improvements are also great. I’m curious to see what they do with Revelation and how they (hopefully) end the remake saga. OG FF7 is a landmark, but I think the remakes do it justice and make it feel like an addition to the world rather than a complete overhaul of the original.

It’s a 10 just cuz not only is it soo freaking good it and it made me cry if yk yk, but again not mad I have to wait for 3 to come out lol

this game left an imprint on my soul and elevated my love for ff7 in a way i didn’t think was possible, and i never wanted it to end. dont think ive cried that hard in a long time at the ending of rebirth, even if i knew it was coming.
