About
Fallout 3 from the creators of the award-winning Oblivion, featuring one of the most realized game worlds ever created. Create any kind of character you want and explore the open wastes of post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. Every minute is a fight for survival as you encounter Super Mutants, Ghouls, Raiders and other dangers of the Wasteland. Prepare for the future. The third game in the Fallout series, Fallout 3 is a singleplayer action role-playing game (RPG) set in a post-apocalyptic Washington DC. Combining the horrific insanity of the Cold War era theory of mutually assured destruction gone terribly wrong, with the kitschy naivety of American 1950s nuclear propaganda, Fallout 3 will satisfy both players familiar with the popular first two games in its series as well as those coming to the franchise for the first time.

(5)One of the most formative games of my youth. I would come home from high school, play all evening, then go into school the next day and meet up with my friends who were also playing and we'd talk about it and share what kinda shit we discovered. I couldn't believe how massive the game felt at the time, especially before open world sandbox type games got beaten to death. What a fucking game man!

My god this game is to nostalgic for me I might be a little biased so forgive me but allow me to convince you that this game is a masterpiece, Fallout 3 feels very different from the other games in its unique way because its quests are weird, unpredictable, and often give you way more choices than people give it credit for. I’d even argue some quests give you as much freedom as New Vegas, just in a less political way. The world also has this creepy, lonely feeling that no other Fallout has really captured. The ruined D.C. atmosphere is incredible, and the Metro stations are honestly one of the best parts of the map. They make the city feel confusing, dangerous, and genuinely destroyed instead of just being an open world with landmarks everywhere.

In the year of 2026 this fallout game is one of the least understood, especially with all the hype from the tv show, but I guess all older fallout games are misunderstood. This game puts you in the boots of someone who’s never seen post apocalyptic world, they’ve lived all their lives in a vault. You definitely get the feeling that you get to choose what happens next. Whether it’s helping someone get clean water, or nuking innocent people and making their skins peel off. The choices you make in your first walkthrough defines who you are as a person in my opinion. But if you want a fun and chaotic RPG than this is for you.
